Westerville Central Music Boosters Scholarship
The Westerville Central Music Booster Scholarship was established in 2005. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who are pursuing a post-secondary education who have been involved in music program(s) while attending Westerville Central and have given back to the community through leadership and/or volunteering. Since music education helps to shape the brain and strengthen neural connections, the Boosters would like to support students who have taken advantage of these classes while at Westerville Central. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to help cover any post-secondary education costs.
The scholarship program is open to Westerville Central senior students. Students will enroll in a post-secondary music education program from an accredited school of higher education and/or participate in music related activities at an accredited school of higher education (i.e. marching band, choir, etc.). The student must have a GPA of 3.0 overall with a 3.5 GPA in all music courses. Candidates are to complete the Community Scholarship Application process for submission. The completed application is due by 1/12/24.
